Functions of Various Sealing Rings

1. A V-type sealing ring is an axially acting elastic rubber sealing ring used for pressureless sealing of rotating shafts. The sealing lip has good flexibility and adaptability, can compensate for relatively large tolerances and angular deviations, and can prevent internal grease or oil from leaking outward, as well as prevent external splashed water or dust from entering.
  2. O-rings are mainly used for static sealing and reciprocating-motion sealing. When used for rotary-motion sealing, they are limited to low-speed rotary sealing devices. V-type sealing rings are generally installed in rectangular-section grooves on the outer or inner circumference to provide sealing.
  3. Y-type sealing rings are widely used in reciprocating dynamic sealing devices. In addition, there are spring-energized sealing rings, which are made by adding a spring to PTFE sealing material and are available with O-type, V-type, and U-type springs.
  4. YX-type sealing ring for bores
  Product application: Used for sealing pistons in reciprocating hydraulic cylinders. Applicable range: TPU: General hydraulic cylinders and hydraulic cylinders for general-purpose equipment. CPU: Hydraulic cylinders for construction machinery and hydraulic cylinders for high-temperature and high-pressure applications. Material: Polyurethane TPU, CPU, rubber
  Product hardness: HS85±2°A Operating temperature: TPU: - 40~+80℃ CPU: -40~+120℃ Working pressure: ≤32Mpa Working medium: Hydraulic oil, emulsion.
  5. YX-type retaining ring for bores
  Product application: This standard applies to use with YX-type sealing rings when the working pressure of the oil cylinder is greater than 16MPa, or when the oil cylinder is subjected to eccentric loads, to protect the sealing ring. Operating temperature: -40~+100℃
  Working medium: Hydraulic oil, emulsion, water Product hardness: HS 92±5A Material: Polytetrafluoroethylene
  6. YX-type sealing ring for shafts
  Product application: Used for sealing piston rods in reciprocating hydraulic cylinders. Applicable range: TPU: General hydraulic cylinders and hydraulic cylinders for general-purpose equipment. CPU: Hydraulic cylinders for construction machinery and hydraulic cylinders for high-temperature and high-pressure applications.

  8. O-type rubber sealing ring (GB1235-76)
  Product application: The O-type rubber sealing ring specified in this standard is applicable to hydraulic and pneumatic systems, as well as various mechanical equipment and components. It provides sealing in stationary or moving conditions under specified pressures, temperatures, and various liquid and gas media.
  Operating temperature: -40~+230℃ Working pressure: <10~220Kg,f/cm

  9. Retaining ring for O-rings
  Product application: This standard applies to use with O-rings when the oil cylinder pressure is greater than 10MPa. Operating temperature: -100~200℃

  10. J-type non-fabric-reinforced dust seal
  Product application: Used for dust protection at the exposed parts of piston rods or valve stems in reciprocating oil cylinders and air cylinders. Applicable range: TPU: Construction machinery, general machinery, and various valves in air cylinders.
  CPU: Oil cylinders for construction machinery and oil or gas cylinders operating under harsh conditions. Material: Polyurethane, nitrile rubber Operating temperature: -40~120℃
  Product hardness: HS 80±5A According to: JB/T6657-1993
  ※Sealing rings offer excellent sealing performance and long service life. The service life under dynamic pressure sealing conditions is 5—10 times that of conventional rubber sealing products, and can reach several dozen times in some cases; under certain conditions, it can have the same service life as the sealing substrate.
  ※Sealing rings have low frictional resistance, with dynamic and static friction forces being equal. Their friction force is 1/2—1/4 that of an “O”-shaped rubber ring, eliminating the “crawling” phenomenon during low-speed, low-pressure movement.
  ※Sealing rings have high wear resistance and feature automatic elastic compensation after wear of the sealing surface.
  ※Sealing rings have good self-lubricating properties and can be used for oil-free lubrication sealing.
  ※Sealing rings have a simple structure and are easy to install.
  ※Working pressure of sealing rings: 0一300MPa; working speed: ≤15m/s; operating temperature: -55—250℃.
  ※Applicable media for sealing rings: Hydraulic oil, gas, water, slurry, crude oil, emulsion, water-glycol, acids, alkalis, chemicals, etc.
