Performance requirements for metal sealing rings
Hardness requirements

Stainless steel metal sealing rings shall undergo solution treatment. The intergranular corrosion susceptibility test shall be conducted in accordance with Method C specified in GB 1223, “Test method for susceptibility to intergranular corrosion of stainless and acid-resistant steels.”
The surfaces of metal sealing rings shall be free from scratches, impact marks, cracks, blemishes, engraved lines, and rough-drawn defects.
The marking of metal sealing rings shall include the trademark, ring number, and material designation. The marking shall be clearly stamped using low-stress steel stamps on the outer, non-sealing contact surface of the metal sealing
ring.
Metal sealing rings shall be stored in a clean, dry, and well-ventilated warehouse to prevent contamination or damage. Rust-prone materials shall undergo rust-preventive treatment.
