Product Introduction
Expanded polytetrafluoroethylene is a low-density material with a large number of micropores and high shear strength, manufactured from raw film made of PTFF dispersion resin through a unique stretching process. It consists of countless homogeneous, fine, flexible, strong and tough multidirectional fibers. Sheet expanded polytetrafluoroethylene sealing gaskets feature high tensile strength, low creep, resistance to high and low temperatures, low creep, resistance to high and low temperatures, corrosion resistance, excellent self-lubrication and non-stick properties. They contain no asbestos or other additives, are non-toxic, comply with FDA requirements, and resist aging. Due to its dimensional stability and good conformability, the expanded PTFE sheet itself forms a denser and more uniform structure as the fibers interweave under pressure. It is airtight and watertight, with excellent leakage prevention performance. Even in harsh, corrosive and high-temperature environments, it can maintain an excellent sealing condition.
Product Features
1. Temperature resistance: Safe for use within the range of -200℃~+260℃
2. Pressure resistance: From vacuum to 207kg lcm2
3. Acid and alkali resistance: (pH0- 14), corrosion-resistant and unaffected by ordinary chemicals (except molten metals and gaseous or liquid fluorine elements)
4. Aging resistance: Does not deteriorate or cause contamination during long-term storage
5. Aging resistance: Easy to install and tighten, and not easily deformed after installation.
6. Complies with FDA standards and is an ideal sealing gasket for the food and pharmaceutical industries. Its superior filling conformability allows it to be used on rough or damaged flanges.
